Industrial Water bowser for the transport and storage of drinking water.
Road bowsers are primarily for high speed operation on the road full or empty at speeds up to 60MPH, they can be towed off road at slower speeds, they are fitted with either a 40mm ring eye or a 50mm ball coupling.
Chassis - Constructed from 70 X 70 R.S.A. fully welded with a ‘T’ frame drawbar, all fully hot dipped galvanised to B.S Standards.
Axle/Suspension - Avonride rubber torsion beam axle fitted with 200 x 50 auto reverse brakes. 4 stud 5½“ pcd hubs
Wheels and Tyres - 2 no. 185 x 13 6 ply commercial van tyres on 5½“ pcd 4 stud rims.
Coupling - Avonride auto reverse coupling fitted with 50mm ball, or 40mm eye, break away cable and parking brake lever.
Ancillary Equipment - Moulded mudguards, front telescopic jockey wheel, lighting board.
Tank
Blue, elliptical in section, baffled & moulded from polyethylene & fitted with an 18”lockable outer hinged manlid cover, inner sealed vented manlid.Tank secured to chassis with 2 stainless steel straps.2 rear taps fitted with hinged Dog guards (option) tank fitted with stainless steel inserts, 2” bottom drain valve
